Sartaj was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba but moved to Vancouver, BC at the age of 6 months. In 2016, he moved out to North Vancouver and have been appreciating nature ever since. Sartaj has been involved in several companies, and he also has been working on his BBA in Financial Management. Most recently, he has worked for a sporting goods store in North Vancouver as an Assistant Manager. He was responsible for online sales, scheduling, customer relations and client orders- this was the perfect background to go into the CSC position. Sartaj says he is fortunate enough to have the whole world celebrate his birthday as it is on Halloween! Outside of work, Sartaj enjoys cooking, cleaning, playing video games, playing soccer (men’s league), and visiting his dog Tigger along with the rest of my family whenever he has some free time.

Will was born in North Vancouver and has lived in the lower mainland his entire life. He has recently completed his second year at the University of Western Ontario, where he is pursuing his Honours degree in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing and communications through the Ivey School of Business. In his studies, Will has gained valuable experience in the fields of database management and financial modelling. His role on the Client Services team allows him to be detail-oriented and to build relationships with clients. Outside of the office, Will is film buff. He enjoys camping, canoeing, archery, and both performing in, and watching, theatre. Will is an active community volunteer and is most proud of his long-standing role as youth liaison for the Pulling Together Canoe Society, an organization which works to enhance understanding between Public Service Agencies and Aboriginal Peoples. Recently, Will was chosen to represent BC on the Youth Council for Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).

Gabby is from Brazil and moved to Vancouver 5 years ago! She graduated in June 2018 from a BCIT Program - International Trade & Logistics. Aligned with the program, Gabby focused her Canadian experience on Supply Chain and Logistics. Previously, she was the lead on the Supply Chain Department in a LED company where she met our Operations Manager, Rachael and worked with her for over a year and a half. Lucky for us we were able to snag both these wonderful ladies! Outside work, she enjoys hanging out with friends, spending the day at the beach or lake during summer! Gabby is a dog lover and loves spending time with her buddy, Loki (Husky/Lab). She misses her family a lot so when she can she usually takes time off to visit them in Brazil.
Brandon has been in the furniture world for over 7 years - he began as an Installer and advanced to a Lead Hand. Prior to that, Brandon was working toward becoming a Carpenter as a framer and concrete former for about 6 years with various companies. He moved to the Lower Mainland from Belleville, Ontario about 13 years ago - not too long after graduating high school. Brandon thinks that Vancouver is a really vibrant place and once some good friends sold him on the idea of moving here, he never left. He likes interacting with people in a positive way. Brandon also likes understanding how things work and how to make things work such as the products Brooks Corning sells. Outside of work he spends a lot of time with his family - he has an almost two year old son who demands much of his time and he has no problem with that! He is a huge Toronto Raptors fan and tries not to miss to many games.

Leticia’s passion for people, art, and business, has lead her to transition into a new industry, where she can still apply her education in community support, and desire to fulfill the needs of her clients. Leticia has been an educator assistant, a concrete finisher performing heavy labor and resolving deficiencies, and most recently she has been a private nanny and assistant! She is excited to be part of a company with the same values that will allow her to explore her creative side. In her free time, you can find Leticia at the field playing soccer, volunteering, playing piano, shopping, and spending time with her husband. PS: Her brother is lead hand, Jake Rodriguez!

Jake is from Vancouver from Salvadorian descent. Jake comes with tons of experience – he started as a kitchen cabinet maker for 6 years at Sierra Cabinets. He then moved to another prominent furniture dealer where he had one year as an installer, and then four years as a lead hand. With over 5 years of system furniture experience, Jake has gained the experience to lead project with ability to initiate/manage a cross-functional team and multi-disciplinary projects with years of customer service and management experience. Outside of work you can find him with his wife and two kiddos, playing flag football with the boys going for another championship, or watching his favorite - the Seattle Seahawks.

Born in Ontario, Michelle moved to BC in 1999. With over 25 years of Business Development experience in global firms such as Novartis, American Express and HOK, Michelle’s focus over the past decade has been the culmination of her business experience and expertise with her passion for design. She finds inspiration and ‘magic’ in bringing together a cross-functional group of people that will have a measurable impact on how she, alongside the team, can best meet clients’ needs. At her home in Squamish, Michelle can be found biking, hiking, skiing, and paddle boarding (pretty much anything in the mountains, ocean or forest!), all while ‘trying’ to keep up with her two very active boys – Graydon (11) and Ridley (8).

Tom is a New Zealander who's been living in Vancouver for the last year. He has a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geography and a Post-Graduate Diploma also majoring in Geography, both from the University of Otago. Tom has worked in the customer service industry for most of his life - even starting at his Dad's retail shop when he was 14! Tom is thrilled to have join the team and we thank him for bringing his passion for good customer service and his drive to constantly improve. Outside of work, Tom is a huge sports fan. Whether it is playing or spectating, he is into it. Tom is a craft beer lover so will often be checking out breweries after exercise - pretending like he knows what he’s talking about and saying buzz words like 'malty' or 'hoppy'.
Favourite Travel Destination: Obviously I have to say anywhere in BC! I also loved traveling to Turkey, the people, the food and the history was an amazing combination. Divya was born and raised in India. She moved to Vancouver in 2010. She spent the next few years getting her undergraduate degree in Interior Design. Having worked in the design industry over the last few years, her favorite part of the design process is programming and concept and design development. Outside of work and in her free time, Divya enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends. She is very passionate about mentoring and volunteering.

Natalie has called Vancouver home most of her life. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an honors in Sustainability from SFU. In her years prior to joining the team at Brooks Corning, she worked in sales management in the real estate development industry - prior to that she gained experience in operations management, customer service management, and corporate event planning. She is a detail-oriented, problem-solver, who is well equipped to see the project through from pre-conception to the finishing touch. Outside of the office, Natalie is an avid hiker and snowshoer, but if she's not in the mountains you'll likely meet her walking her spotted pup along the seawall or browsing with measuring tape in hand through furniture, decor, and antique shops. And yes, she will lend you her measuring tape.
Favourite travel Destination: Fall/Winter: Eating my way through Manhattan or hiking in Arizona - or ideally both. Summer: Beautiful Haida Gwaii to visit friends and discover our next off-grid adventure. Favourite food: Mushroom and sage anything! Favourite restaurant: Waterfront Wines in Kelowna, BC (Note: It's not on the waterfront and it's not a winery, but it's all sorts of delicious.)
Andrew was born and raised in Dunedin, New Zealand. He studied at the University of Otago and graduated with a double degree in Psychology and Geography. Andrew previously worked for a government health insurance program in New Zealand and more recently a non-profit organization here in Vancouver. His strengths are time management, problem solving and he has many years experience of customer service. Andrew is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching basketball, football and baseball. He also loves going for hikes and getting outside in nature.

Rachel has a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Otago. Originally from New Zealand - she has lived in Canada for two and a half years. Rachel has a background in civil engineering and construction – this included working for New Zealand's largest roading construction company for ten years. She started off in Environmental Management and worked her way into Project Management specializing in Sustainability Projects. In Vancouver, Rachel began working for TransLink before moving to a LED lighting company where she has been their Operations Manager for the past two years. Outside of work, Rachel loves to be outdoors. She snowboards and hikes often and can't get through a week without at least a couple of yoga classes. Rachel likes to support community projects and has been actively involved with the cooperative lending library "The Thingery" since it began in 2017.

Jacob grew up on Shuswap Lake and moved to Vancouver 9 years ago (originally intending to study History at UBC). Shortly after and thanks to a part time job, he discovered his talent for hands on projects and installing furniture. Jacob has been in the furniture industry for eight years - starting as an installer and then diving into the world of Design and Specification. With Jacob’s background and his strong knowledge of computer software, he has a practical advantage for specifying the product required to ensure a seamless installation. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys playing guitar, as well as producing his own music and spending time with friends and family. He is always looking for a challenge and loves discovering and learning new things.

Katia moved to Vancouver from São Paulo, Brazil about 4 years ago to obtain her post degree diploma in Accounting and is currently pursuing her CPA designation. Her passion for numbers and critical thinking translated into a 10 years accounting career! Katia's work experience comes from a different range of industries: professional services, retail, telecommunications, furniture and aerospace. Katia is actually a Brooks Corning alumni who joined the company in 2017 for a part-time role during the completion of her studies and has rejoined the family for a full time position! When not in the office, you can find Katia reading a good book in any park around the Mount Pleasant area or playing board games with friends if it's too rainy outside (which means a lot of board gaming!).
